Here I am going to try to keep everyone updated on all our activities. Including those of Chase as he embarqs on his journey through our Wonderful Military. I have received a few letters from Chase detailing some of his journey through bootcamp. Though for those of you close friends and family, I intend to buy his video from basic so that we may all see his joyous adventure. I am so very proud of Chase for choosing to be one of our many men and women who are willing to serve our country. Chase has had the adventure of climbing 105ft on a tower only to slide down a rope to the bottom...lol...well, better known as repelling. He says it was scary but he would do it again. He has been issued his m-16 rifel, probably the highlight of bootcamp..lol. He has done the gas chamber though I have not heard how that went. The last letter dated April 13 said he would go through tomorrow. Of course they are doing all the fun stuff in between like being shot at while they crawl on the ground, running, push ups, sit ups, no rest for the weary, etc.. Oh and he was supposed to do day and night land naigation so waiting to hear how that went as well. In his first couple of letters he was a little homesick and in the last two he is having a blast. lol. Not much time to think at this point I guess. Just remember to keep him in your prayers and if any of you reading this did not get his address from me and you want to write a letter, just let me know on facebook or email and I will send if to you.
Katie Ann and Cassie have some fun summer stuff planned. Coming upon the end of the school year we have their Spring festival, field day, etc... Katie Ann continues to maintain A's and Cassie holds strong with all A's and one B. So proud of both of them. I took them this past Sunday afternoon to a local summer camp registeration event where they got to pet, feed and play with farm animals. They got to ride horses, play on the playground, gather eggs etc... just some of the fun they will have this summer while they go for one week. Oh and water activities. They also have chorse if they are at the sleepaway part. They have day camp and sleepaway. If anyone would like more info on this great summer camp send me a message on FB and I will send the link. I prefer not to let strangers know where my kids will be this summer. Just in case someone gets in here that I don't know somehow.
This is a start and I will try once more to keep this blog updated.
God Bless,
Kim
